Mary Agnes Welch

Mary Agnes joined Probe Research in 2016 following a career as an award-winning journalist in

Ontario and Manitoba. She works with a variety of non-profit, labour and government clients and

specializes in complex, multi-layer public opinion and engagement projects on policy issues. Her strengths are creative ideas at the front-end or design stage of a project and then accessible and insightful reporting on the backend. Mary Agnes blends traditional research tools with more innovative engagement techniques to help clients navigate complicated issues. Clients benefit tremendously from Mary Agnes’ engaging approach and her skills as a focus group moderator and facilitator. Mary Agnes holds an IAP2 certification and has an MSc from Columbia University. She currently serves on too many volunteer boards.
